It shouldn't be a cake-walk but some of these are the ones that have 6 to 10 different things to do and some of them are just an "open and shut case" of "can't do that. On one hand, I very much like the idea that we have an opportunity to get the missing pieces through daily quests and such but it sure does seem to take a long time and what's worse is that A) the more prizes out there our options are spread even thinner and B) the quests themselves seem inordinately difficult to obtain a "piece" of something. I am beginning my 10th month of play on FoE and have to say that I am experiencing the "problems" mentioned above for nearly every event that I participate in! It's very frustrating to find out somewhere in the "middle" of an event (usually AFTER I've spent a fair bit of money on diamonds) that I am going to be lucky if I can get the "main prize." Such potential, yet we got a new Doorway, and nothing else new. Like a spooky field that turned into a spooky pumpkin patch/scarecrow field/big witches cauldron or something. I guess i was just super excited for some awesome looking multi level Halloween themed building. You've all read my opinion on the Graveyard. Mad Scientist Lab is nice, but nothing new. This was basically an extended Historical Event. The goal is to collect tickets for the Halloween tent in order to get more children into the. In addition, there are mini-quests that can be activated via dolls, which are then found as part of the built-in mini-game. During the 22 days, there are 30 instant quests plus 21 daily quests. There was always something to do (spin the wheel, make a pass, etc) and always something to aim for (do you go for today's prize or wait?).Īgain, this Halloween event was just a long series of standard, boring quests. The Halloween event will start again at the end of October. I just feel like they were more fun than this Halloween event. I know some of these events existed before I joined FoE (summer casino) so it's not like there wasn't a precedent already. Sure, I may be spoiled because I came in right for last year's Winter Event, and played every event after so far. Now people who didn't play back then or have somehow forgotten think these buildings are. People used to look forward to upgrading the Graveyard and other such buildings. So, gear up, get your team in shape, play your hearts out, and remember - there are amazing rewards waiting for you at the final whistle. ![]() It was just a long string of quests, basically just daily challenges, with some prizes. This is the problem with progressively increasing the power and output of event prizes. Were borrowing the playbook from the Anniversary Event and introducing the merge mechanic into the game plan.
